Comprehensive Pain Treatment Agreements
Modern German Technology for Pain Treatment
Salem Center offers two types of modern pain treatment services
1. Non-invasive Radiotherapy
Performed using the Orthovolt Radiotherapy device which produces low-energy therapeutic radiation with a voltage ranging from 100 to 300 kilovolts.
These rays have the ability to:
Penetrate inflamed tissues to an appropriate depth ranging from approximately 10 mm to 65 mm.
Treat all inflammations in the joints including those associated with osteoarthritis.
Treat inflammations related to spinal stenosis including the spinal canals where nerve roots emerge.
The treatment course lasts for 4 weeks with 12 sessions at a rate of 3 sessions per week, all without using injections.
The Orthovolt device works in coordination with a CT scanner and a specialized program to measure tissue depth and treatment duration, ensuring high precision and excellent therapeutic effectiveness.
2. Interventional Radiotherapy under CT Guidance
This type of treatment is performed through injections under CT supervision, aiming to deliver therapy precisely to affected areas within the joint or spine, ensuring optimal results and effective pain reduction.
